MML promotes news, events, and conferences of interest to its members. In addition, the MML publishes a magazine, pamphlets, and technical briefs to assist its member cities and their officials in performing their duties. There also links to other publications of interest to municipal officials.

Join us for a free workshop hosted by the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson. This event is open to municipalities, counties, state agencies, and non-government organizations interested in learning how to submit strong grant applications, secure matching funds, and better understand the MOSTF program and its funding priorities.
Key speakers will include Governor Tate Reeves; James Cummins, Executive Director of Wildlife Mississippi; and Ed Penny, Director of Public Policy for the Southern Region at Ducks Unlimited, Inc., along with additional state and conservation leaders.
Lunch will be provided at no cost, and MML members will be eligible to receive two CMO elective credits. This workshop is free to attend, but space is limited.
