The City of Okolona is accepting applications for the General Manager of the Okolona Electric Department.
The General Manager is responsible for:
- System operations, maintenance, and planning (short and long range)
- Metering and billing
- Retail rates and contracts
- Budgeting
- Financial reports and audit
- Customer service and application of OED’s Rules and Regulations
- Programs and initiatives
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or related field with two to three years (2-3) years’ related experience; or five to ten (5-10) years’ of progressively responsible experience, including the supervision of employees.
- Experience at an LPC in the TVA service area preferred.
