The City of Okolona is accepting applications for the General Manager of the Okolona Electric Department.

The General Manager is responsible for: 

  • System operations, maintenance, and planning (short and long range)
  • Metering and billing
  • Retail rates and contracts
  • Budgeting 
  • Financial reports and audit
  • Customer service and application of OED’s Rules and Regulations
  • Programs and initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or related field with two to three years (2-3) years’ related experience; or five to ten (5-10) years’ of progressively responsible experience, including the supervision of employees.
  •  Experience at an LPC in the TVA service area preferred.
